Wedding
The past couple of months have been crazy busy, but this past weekend it all came to an end. I started a new job, which is going well, and have been planning a wedding. Of course the week prior to the wedding is the busiest week of all, but naturally, it also had to be the week I was sent away for training. I usually work part time, so taking on a wedding was doable, when I was informed that my training was also the week leading up to the wedding I wasn't sure how I was going to juggle it all. Thankfully, the bride is so wonderful and really stepped it up! Here are some shots from the wedding...
Why, you ask, all the shots of flowers? Well, they are mine! Her theme was Hollywood Glam, so jewels, pink, red, purple and black it is! The pictures don't do the hall justice. It really was beautiful! Half of the center pieces are flower arrangements done in shoes and the other half are curly willow, orchids and gems that were 5 feet tall. It was stunning! I also made an arrangement in a man's shoe to put in front of the groom at the head table and at the signing table. It really looked glamorous!
Congrats Sarah and Ryan!

Sunday
Yummy breakfast!
Reading on her car
After breakfast and a quick play we headed to Vittoria to see Auntie Adrienne, Uncle Mike, Matthew and Anna. Emily had a great time swimming and playing, despite the lack of sleep she had the night before.

When your legs are tired, run with your heart!
Yesterday I ran another 5K race! A couple of months ago while chatting with a friend I discovered she wanted to learn how to run. Since it is difficult for me to get to London 3 times a week to join my running group I volunteered to coach her. She continued the conversation on with a couple of other women and before I knew it I had 3 keen ladies! We met for our first run and suggested that we needed to set a goal race. Reach the Beach in Port Stanley on August 13 it was. So over the past 10 weeks we ran together 3 times a week to get ready for the big day in Port Stanley.
They did so well, I was very impressed not only with their effort over the past couple of months, but with their determination to run the entire 5K, a course that is by far the hardest I have ever ran. It is riddled with hills and bends, even the most sesasoned runners there found this run difficult. And to top it off it was almost 30 degress!
Well done, ladies!!!
We were all exhausted after climbing the various hills, but I asked about Monday - our next practice run, and they were all keen! Not only that, but they want to continue onto a 10K...impressive! So stay tuned, the next running photos of this
group will be at our next goal race!

For the long weekend we went camping with a few of the players from Tim's broomball team. It was such a blast!
Emily loved being outside all day everyday!
Duke, the Saint Bernard, and Sledge. There was also a chiwawa so we had the dog spectrum covered as far as size and not-your-standard-breed goes.
Emily loved swimming with Daddy!
1,2,3 JUMP!
kick, kick
For an entire afternoon she just wanted to play by herself. She still had a ton of fun trying to get in Sledge's food bag.
Around the campfire, the guys are watching a 'movie'.
A group shot.
Our trailer.
It rained and rained one evening so here we are trying to keep dry. That is big Emily and her brother Ethan trying to get to Sally's chiwawa.
Splish splash!
Relaxing, watching a movie. Ready to go home.
So that was it, a jam packed, fun filled long weekend! Even with the rain it was a blast and we can't wait to do it again!
